About Michael Riley
I come from Port Washington, New York (Long Island). Sports have been a passion of mine since I was a kid. I attended Chaminade High School, where I succeeded both on the field and in the classroom. Football was my main sport, although I did play lacrosse for two years. Academically, I was a two-time Varsity Football Student Athlete Award recipient. More importantly, I graduated at the top of a nearly 400 student class as salutatorian.
Currently, I am a senior at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where I double major in Marketing and Finance. After my sophomore year, I had the privilege of participating in the Strategic Management summer program at the University of Oxford. Over my first three years at Georgetown, I have participated in the following activities:
- Intramural Flag Football, Basketball, and Softball
- Georgetown University Grilling Society (GUGS)
- Alpha Kappa Psi: Professional Business Fraternity
- McDonough School of Business Alumni Mentor Program
- Georgetown Aspiring Minority Business Leaders and Entrepreneurs (GAMBLE) Sports
- Toastmasters International
In terms of my sports experience, I volunteered for the Georgetown University Athletics Ticketing Office as a sophomore. Over the course of my junior year, I worked closely with NFL agent Todd Crannell at Q2 Sports & Entertainment. This past summer, I interned at Leverage Agency, where much of my work focused on client outreach and website development. Currently, I co-host a sports radio show for WGTB Georgetown Radio. I am excited for the rest of my senior year as I prepare to officially break into the sports industry.
